The four Nepalese districts of Gorkha, Rashuwa, Dhading, and Nuwakot are all included in the Ganesh Himal Region. The Ganesh Himal mountain ranges are located about 70 kilometers (km) from the Kathmandu valley. By taking a quick ride along Pasang Lhamu and Prithvi Narayan Highway, you can examine the starting point for all of the trekking paths in the Ganesh Himal region.
The mountain range has the name of Lord Ganesh, the elephant-headed Hindu god of wealth. In actuality, Ganesh IV's south face also resembles an elephant trunk to some extent. The Ganesh Himal I (also known as Yangra), one of the four summits in this sub-range, is the highest at 7,422 m, with the other three peaks all being higher than 7000 m.
