Everest Khumbu Treks

The Solukhumbu region, often known as the Everest region, is the most popular tourist destination in Nepal. It is situated in the country's eastern Solukhumbu district and is protected as the Sagarmatha National Park (est. 1976). Sagarmatha, the name of the park, is a Nepali name for Mount Everest.

The national park covers 1148 square kilometers and rises from 2845 meters to 8848 meters above sea level. More than 118 different bird species may be found in the park, along with other endangered animals including the red panda, snow leopard, and Himalayan black bear.

Below 5750 m, blue pines, firs, rhododendron, birch, and junipers are among the common plants found here. Above that, the landscape is unfriendly and covered with snow.
